NZ: Day 6

After a restful day off we headed back up the mountain this morning to our first day in brush gates.  We had heard that there was a chance that weather would be coming in, but it passed before we had to make our way up the hill.  The ski area had gotten about half a foot of snow, which made for a lot of slipping in the course, but some great free skiing out of it.

It was clear, sunny and mild on the hill, but as we headed down the mountain, into town, we made our way through the fog into a cold and rainy day.  This didn't slow down the plans to go find a team volleyball at the hardware store and play a really excellent game of volleyball.
Dinner was tasty as usual, and it's early to bed for another day back in brush gates tomorrow. Let's hope the weather stays as great as it has been!
