BMA U16 Fredi Schneider was named to the Team USA which placed 2nd to Team Tirol in the Hahnenkahm Juniors event in Kitzbuhel, Austria today. This is one of the events held this week leading up to the fabled Hahnenkahm this weekend. Fredi is pictured at right, together with teammate (and lifelong buddy) Hunter Brayton (Waterville) and USST coach Michael Rogan.
Several Burkies are participating in a USSA NTG (National Training Group) project at Whiteface Mtn., NY. Will Beney came up big, winning today's slalom against many of the East's best U16s and several from across the country. Vermont's Northern Vermont Council swept the podium, with Chauncey Morgan and Ben Ritchie, both of GMVS, completing the podium.
Lizzie Williams came up big too, placing 2nd in the women's race.
