Some photos from the women's team

We've had some good times in the last few weeks on the girls team. Here are some photos!

We hiked the training hill for Monday morning's workout last week. The sunrise, fog, and clouds were spectacular:

We did some trail work to help get the trails ready for Circumburke. This is a shot of me, Tatum, and Parker hard at work. I've done a lot of manual labor so can really show these girls how to be excellent:

Alright, they did some actual work, too. They built this awesome berm! I can't wait to shred this corner during Circumburke - it will probably be the highlight of all 26 miles:

And we found this beech tree with some claw marks from where a bear climbed up, maybe to eat some beech nuts but maybe also to just hang around:

Then last Saturday we capitalized on the nice weather and did a fast paced mountain bike ride. This photo was as we were mobbing down mountain road. It's a good one, but really doesn't capture the full visual impact of 25 girls owning the road all the way down into town (I was near the back of the pack). When you're in a group that big, you get to take up the whole lane going down Mountain Road. They didn't look this happy riding single file on the way back up 2 hours later. Dannica, Gigi, Alli, and Brianna:

That's all for now!
