A warmer day on the training hill

This morning the hill was packed with Slalom courses, and the afternoon sessions comprised of a bunch of college teams + the FIS girls doing GS. Possibly the most exciting thing today though, was that 10 degrees F felt balmy. What a welcomed change!

Winter Wonderland

Viv and Brandon started the New Year by heading down to Kingdom Trails Nordic Adventure Center on Darling Ridge for the fat bike demos.  KT director Tim Tierney took this picture of us and posted it on facebook.  He then sent Viv this message:

this photo has gone viral ( well..not truly viral but relative to what we normally get)

Torch Light New Years Eve 2013

Here are a few of the hearty hikers for Torch Light.  We had 40+ participants but it can be a struggle to get good pictures while also trying to get organized.  It was a chilly but beautiful night and many thanks to those that made the trek to participate and view.  It was a very Happy and Healthy way the celebrate the coming of the new year!  I know some folks got good pictures/video from the viewpoint so hopefully those will get posted soon.
