Saas Fee

Our first two days on snow here in Saas Fee were so good that I didn't manage to get a single photo while we were skiing, and the subsequent two days have unfortunately been rainy. From here on, the weather looks like it will get a little better, but we have had some good off-day fun today and yesterday. 

Yesterday a couple girls went up a gondola to try to check out the ice caves, but got stuck at the top of the gondola when they shut down the lift because of lightning...fortunately the hardship of being stuck was mitigated by the fact that the restaurant at the top of the gondola served croissants and hot chocolate while they waited out the storm! Today a few kids played pick-up soccer with a French team, which they only intended to do for under an hour...but which continued for 2.5 hours! We also did an agility workout on the turf fields during a break in the weather, and had a tuning clinic, and study halls, of course!
