A Mix: Cooking, Classes, Shelley Glover Awards, and Testing

Parker and Amy make dessert. Students often help cook in their free time.

Environmental Studies class - during a presentation

Moriah presents on "E-waste." The seniors presented on various environmental issues/hot spots, the culmination of a three month research project. The couple I got to hear were really interesting! Well done Seniors!

The scene during box jumps yesterday. The energy in the room was pretty amazing. Everyone's cheering while the jumper pushes to their absolute max. Moriah jumping.

 Jake jumping

Sam Damon presented Shelley Glover Burkie Bear awards to the top 3 male and female overall finishers in the Shelley Glover Eastern Cup Super Gs from the end of March. These are handmade pieces and Sam hopes to continue the tradition in the future. This year Burkies took the majority of the hardware: Patrick and Moriah in 3rd, Sven and Alli in 2nd, and Dani won. (First for men went to Sam Morse of CVA.) (Overall was both races times combined.)

Spring Workouts Day 2

This morning everyone ran the 6 minute run at the Lyndon Institute track. The 6 minute run determines the pace that each athletes will run their 200 meter intervals in the coming weeks.

A few students enjoyed a game of tennis after class and before work out.

You can't tell that well, but the rain came this afternoon and the last group on the gym got soaked - but pushed through!

Libby's new puppy - Gill - all curled up, staying warm and dry under the bench. I will need to get a better photo because he is the cutest and he is a major hit on campus!!
