What a difference a weekend makes! This place is transformed after some heavy snow over the weekend. We got about 30cm down in the village, and close to 90cm up on the higher parts of the mountain. They're forecasting more snow next weekend as well, so it should be an interesting ride out of here on Friday afternoon. Here are some photos from the scene:

Our apartments have a view down to Santiago. It's usually pretty smoggy and hard to see all the way down there, but when it's cold out and the smog settles, the city twinkles way below.
