UVM slalom on training hill

The rained out UVM slalom has been rescheduled for Sunday 1/26/14 here at Burke. Come out and enjoy the scene as 30 BMA alums and students compete on home turf.

Ice & Rain

We have loved this ice sheet which we attempt to cross near the warming hut daily.... This was this morning. We actually had great training and were psyched to make it to the mountain. The roads were bad. But as I write this at 5pm it is absolutely pouring, not freezing rain or icing. UGH!!!

BMA Nordic Development Camp

Last weekend BMA hosted a Nordic Training Camp for racers aged 12-15 years. We had a great group of campers in attendance and they skied lots! Jane McLarney '12 and Tara Humphries '13 (both now attending Bates College) returned to campus as guest coaches, and current Nordic athletes Tim and Ava helped to set the example of a typical day-in-the-life at BMA.

We hope to make this training camp an annual Nordic program event.
