First snow...!?

Friday Morning's Workout

By Anna, Moriah and Matt Hanus: We woke up to a drizzly morning just to go outside and do circuits. The Burkie men did field circuits, at the same time the women were working on their medicine ball throws. Gloves are a MUST on these cold, rainy mornings. As always we did a good warm up before our workout. This time it was in the dark.

After warm up we got down to the hard work. The superman medicine ball throws were the hardest, but we could handle them. Greg was extra nice by making us do them in the sand.
Thanks Greg!

Below are lateral medicine ball throws and physio ball with med ball crunches.

The guys field circuits were just as fun as always - really tough. And cold. The wheelbarrow push is the first, then there are the rope pull, tire throws, and all the usual fun ones. The hardest were partner carries and backwards retrograde walking tuck, both up Pete's Plunge.
All in all it was a good morning.

Conditioning at BMA

We've had a terrific 4 week block of conditioning. With the break coming up and three weeks plus after that, the athletes that have been pushing themselves this fall will be in a great spot to start the season.
