Repost - Goodbye Loveland - Happy Thanksgiving!

I tried to post this as we packed up and left Loveland but apparently it didn't work.  Thanks Loveland for a great camp!
I hope everyone is enjoying a break at home. See you soon!

Summit County Scenes

It seems like we've been getting sun or snow this camp, with storms coming through midweek each week, and one more is in the forecast. The snow has been really good for training at Loveland, Copper, and Vail - where various groups are skiing. Here are a few scenes from the Frisco/Lake Dillon area and Loveland.

Hanus Yahtzee!

It was a Hanus convergence to celebrate Julia (#4)'s birthday tonight. Matt and Andrew came over to the Holiday Inn to celebrate their sister (and enjoy the massive 50:1 female to male ratio here on this side of town!)

U16 Boys in Colorado

Today we awoke to a beautiful Colorado morning as seen from the Inn.

After a few days of drills and technical free skiing, the U16 boys were ready for some gate training and totally fired up with their new training bibs!

The ski room is well organized and quite full

Many thanks to Jeff Sirjane for the update!

U16s @ 12,000'

As if Loveland wasn't enough altitude to be getting along with, today the U16/U14 girls headed to Copper for some GS training at 12,000'+ ...yikes!

In addition to the altitude, we had some fresh snow and pretty cold temps - which could have made for a tough slog for the afternoon, but wound up being anything but! We are so lucky to have a super hard working, totally excited and positive group of girls and they brought a ton of energy and enthusiasm to the session. Here are a few smiling faces at the top of their last run...obviously the only run when the sun came out!
