The past few days
Here's a smattering of what's been going on around Burke the past few days.

Orientation Part 2 - Rock Climbing

Foul Water Lab
Chemistry students competed to see who could "purify" a sample of disgusting water to be clean enough to drink. After multiple physical changes (setting, filtering, decanting and distillation) the samples looked quite potable!

Mountain Bike Time Trial 9/16/15
The warm-up was breathtaking.

The start included a variety of participants, notable TK, Alli, and McKenna who wanted another shot after having done the TT on Friday with the women's alpine team. I think McKenna improved her time by several MINUTES?!
The TT itself was breathtaking.
I believe Forest won the male alpine athlete category.

Are You Living An Authentic Life?
The 10th grade class read Kate Taylor's article "Are You Living An Authentic Life?" and answered her ten questions. Here they are!
VARA dryland day at Cochran's
We took a group of U16's over to Cochran's on Sunday for the VARA fit day and dryland extravaganza. There were 10 dryland stations, manned by the UVM ski team, the St. Michael's College ski team, as well as the celebrity stars of Redneck Racing. It was fun, but tough!
